Time to get motivated, So lets have a look at Motivational story

Motivational story

An entrepreneur, cartoonist, animator, voice actor, and film producer-Walt Disney

BEFORE:
Before he became the legend that he is today, this man was struggling to make ends meet. In 1919, while working for a newspaper, he was fired by the newspaper editor because he “lacked imagination and had no good ideas.” In January 1920, he formed a short-lived company with another cartoonist. However, following a rough start, he left temporarily to earn money at the Kansas City Film Ad Company. He was soon joined by Iwerks, who were not able to run their business alone. Later, though he acquired his own studio which was successful, studio profits were insufficient to cover the high salaries paid to employees. The studio became loaded with debt and wound up bankrupt. After that, he decided to set up a studio in the movie industry’s capital city, Hollywood, California.

AFTER:
He created Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Oswald, which was one of his first huge successes in the cartooning business. At that time, he was only receiving a 20 percent cut on his films and was ready to negotiate for higher since he was barely earning. He received another setback when his producer stole the character, and also stole his animation crew by negotiating contracts with them. His producer thought he would cave and work with the mere 20% he was paid.

While most people would pack their bags and return home crying, or work for minimum wages, this dauntless young man went on to create his most successful cartoon character EVER – Mickey Mouse. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this amazing person is none other than the entrepreneur, cartoonist, animator, voice actor, and film producer Walt Disney. Reportedly, he was also told that Mickey Mouse would not work since a huge mouse on the screen would terrify women. Well, it seems that women were not scared, for this mouse has continued to share his story on screens all over the world, even today.

He did not let a string of failures overcome him, standing strong even through his toughest times. There must not be a single person who does not know Disney, or hasn’t heard the name “Disney”. The newspaper editor who fired him for “lack of imagination and no good ideas” must be rolling in his grave right now!

News Alert: Moon to get first mobile phone network

News Alert: Moon to get first mobile phone network

Hello Friends,
Yes you heard it right, the moon will get its 1st mobile network next year, consisting high-definition streaming from the lunar landscape back to earth, part of a project to back the first privately funded moon mission.

Vodafone Germany, network equipment maker Nokia and carmaker Audi said on Tuesday that they were working together to support the mission, 50 years after the first NASA astronauts walked on the moon.

Vodafone said that they had appointed Nokia as their technology partner to develop a space-grade network which would be a small piece of hardware weighing less than a bag of salt.

These companies are working with Berlin-based company PTScientists on this project, with a launch scheduled in 2019 from Cape Canaveral on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, Vodafone said.

"This project involves a radically innovative approach to the development of mobile network infrastructure," Vodafone Germany Chief Executive Hannes Ametsreiter said.

One executive involved in this said, the decision to build a 4G network rather a state-of-the-art 5G networks was taken because the next generation networks remain in the testing and trial stage and are not stable enough to ensure they would work from the lunar surface.

How to Prepare for Exams..!!

1. First read the question paper carefully: The first thing you should do is read your paper carefully & understand it well. When writing the answers, you first need to understand what is being asked and how much marks it contains. The answer should be written accordingly and comprehensively.

2. Set your priority: List the questions which you are more confident to start with. There’s no need to write all the answers in the same order as in question paper. Firstly, write that answers which you know you can answer well. This will help you gain confidence and will also help you spare enough time to think about the other questions.

3. Use easy and simple language: While writing your answers, make sure that you use easy to understand language. An examiner will rather be impressed by your conceptual answer written in simple language than with one without any conceptual language but written in tough language.

4. Don't get stuck: While solving the questions, you should not get stuck on any particular question. Leave the question if you are not able to recall the answer within few minutes of reading a question. At times there is a situation when you know the answer to only a part of the question. In that situation, you should write what you know and jump to another question. You can come back to that questions later as soon as you finish with the rest of the Questions.

5. Be neat and clean: Write your answer in a clean and legible way. Not everyone has a beautiful handwriting but anyone can write answers with proper space and punctuation in a legible handwriting. Remember that if your answer sheet is not clean and handwriting is illegible, it will be not good for you. Use margin wherever necessary.

6. Cross-check your answers: Usually the question papers are set in such a way that even after attempting all the questions, students should be left with 5-10 minutes in the end to revise their answers. Do not waste your time and revise all your answers.
